TeliaSonera to expand the reach of 4G Services

After the successful launch 4G services (LTE / Long Term Evolution) first in the world, TeliaSonera telephone operators operating in the Nordic countries and the Balkans, began to expand its services to all regions of Norway and Sweden. To date, Ericsson has signed contracts with four commercial LTE big operators, including Verizon Wireless and MetroPCS in the United States, NTT DoCoMo in Japan and TeliaSonera in Sweden. LTE which is mentioned is the next generation of mobile communications technology, enabling the transfer of very large data with a quick, efficient and cost effective, optimize the use of frequency spectrum.

With increased speed and reduced latency, customers can enjoy whatever services are available online as a web of real-time, online game, social media collaboration and video conferencing, power and easily while on the move. LTE will meet the demand for new Internet applications and higher in the future.

Ericsson has pioneered wireless technology and led the development of LTE. Together with NTT DoCoMo, Ericsson initiated the standardization of LTE with the international standardization body 3GPP in 2004, and has made the largest number of approved contributions to the group. Ericsson also berekspektasi to hold 25 percent of all patents essential to LTE, making it the largest patent holder in the industry.
