Next Generation Technology of Nano Fibers for Clothing Energy
Scientists in California promise, clothing energy power to recharge various gadgets will soon materialize. The team from the University of California, Berkeley, developed a nano fiber material energy storage can be converted into clothing and textile materials. Next-generation technology of nano fibers can change the energy of mechanical pressure into electrical current. In the near future, this material will soon be realized in the form of ready-made clothing to recharge the gadgets.
The next technology of nano fiber has a property piezoelectric which allows transformed into electrical energy through mechanical pressure, for example when the fabric stretched or squeezed. "This technology allows the realization of the end 'smart clothing' that could provide power for electronic goods through normal body movements," said Liwei Lin of the University of California, Berkeley, who developed this material. Because the next generation technology of nano fibers made of polyvinylidene fluoride organic, so this material is very flexible and relatively easy and inexpensive to produce.
