Memorized the news that Intel was preparing to release a line of family dual-core CPUs for notebooks slim. According to Digitimes, Intel has plans to upgrade the notebook ultra-slim portfolio that includes latest generation dual-core CPUs before the end of this year.

Intel Core 2 Solo SU3000 will be eliminated and replaced with a Core 2 Duo SU7000. Pentium SU2000 will be replaced by Core 2 Duo SU4000. Single-core Celeron will be 'retired' and replaced by the Celeron dual-core SU3000. However Celeron 700 single-core will be maintained to meet the needs of entry-level market. The same thing applies to SU9000 at a higher market. Next December, Intel is scheduled to launch the platform Pine Trail-M for the netbook. However, this new product will be marketed to retail early next year.
