If the MS move the area that these new areas in the Covered BSC with the other inter BSC the handover will occur.

A). Based on the results of the measurement of MS, BSC, which will be long decided to handover to the BSC. BSC from a long handover request will be sent to the MSC along with the identity of the new cell.

B). BSC / MSC knows where that control the BTS and send request handover to the BSC this (new BSC).

C). The new BSC ordered BTS to enable TCH.

D). When the BTS have the TCH, BSC, which sends information about the new time slot, frequency, and the output power to the MSC.

E). MSC forward this information to the BSC that long.


















Inter BSC HandoverF). MS was ordered to move to the new TCH.

G). MS send a handover to the new TCH.

H). Immediately after the handover BTS detect physical and send the information contains "Timing advance" and the output power to MS.

I). BSC confirm that the new BTS has received handover.

J). This information is forwarded to the MSC through the BSC, which has been shifting its point in the GS.

K). MSC inform BSC long time to turn off the TCH.

L). TCH old will be disabled in the next BTS.
